Retired Army Gen. Michael Flynn has warned that the CrowdStrike outage that impacted Microsoft systems worldwide in late July is only a precursor to a bigger event.
He issued this warning during a recent appearance on the “Thrivetime Show” podcast, telling host and ReAwaken America Tour founder Clay Clark that the July 19 glitch is only a precursor to what World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab has been saying.
“This underpinning of the systems that were attacked, one of these systems was the banking system. So when we start to think about banking, airlines, medical health care, 911 services, the media got hit as well. The blue screen of death, as they describe it,” said Flynn.
“Schwab just told us what is going to happen. What just happened with the cyberattack is not what he is talking about – he is talking about a much greater catastrophic event. And so, I do believe that what we saw was a precursor-type event and I think we’re going to see something worse.”
According to Flynn, the event mentioned by the WEF founder is going to make the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic look like child’s play. He also mentioned that the July 19 outage is is yet to be determined as a real cyberattack or a purposeful and intentional cyber event conducted by CrowdStrike.
“I think this cyber event that we saw was anything but an accident, an incident or a glitch. It was not I believe it was meant to do some damage to some systems. It was also meant as a test run.”
Flynn, former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency under the Department of Defense, pointed out that CrowdStrike is notorious for deceiving the American people. He recalled that the company was the one that supposedly did the investigation on the cyberattack of the Democratic National Committee file. The former national security advisor to former President Donald Trump pointed out this event was going to analyze what kind of responses and consequences could happen if they shut down the airlines, health care systems, 911 services and other impactful things that drive the daily lives of people.
Flynn said people didn’t do much, but they complained a lot and there was very little the American people can actually do about it.
The national bestselling author also said he is worried that if this went into the election and they shut down the election systems it could be a potential bigger issue that will impact future American elections. He warned something could happen that would give the current administration an opportunity to declare an emergency that would eventually stop the holding of an election this year because of a high risk for the threat to democracy.
“That’s what we ought to be telling the American people. And that’s what people need to hear from leaders like Trump and other leaders that we have that are standing up on behalf of the GOP,” Flynn told Clark.
“You don’t hear it coming out of the Speaker of the House. You don’t hear it coming out of any of the senators that we currently have. You don’t hear it coming out of any governors. These are the real threats that we face. So, if we don’t overcome this, if we don’t understand the enemy that we face then we can’t defeat them.”
